The vast majority of our orders are dispatched within 3-7 working days. However, more specialty items or ordered-in items may take a little longer to dispatch.
We only deliver on a working day.
Working days are Monday through Friday excluding public holidays. Orders placed on Saturday/Sunday will be deemed as being placed on the following Monday.
We try to deliver all our orders using Mill Timber Direct or Mon Timber vehicles however some deliveries may be shipped using a courier or haulage company.
Please note that we operate a kerb-side only delivery service.

To Ensure a Successful Delivery
Please note deliveries are made on large vehicles. Please advise us if access to the delivery address is limited.
Due to insurance guidelines, delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences. Delivery will be as far as possible to the kerbside of the delivery address.
Where off-load facilities are not available, the driver may require assistance to off-load from the vehicle. The recipient of the products is responsible for any additional lifting once the delivery has been made, please bear in mind that our products can be bulky and / or heavy. There may be an additional charge where mechanical off-load is requested.
The delivery driver will take a photograph of the goods at the delivery address to confirm the goods have been received.
The driver will make contact via the provided telephone number, please ensure this is available to be answered to prevent a failed delivery.
Collection Orders
Collection from branch is free. Simply add items to your basket on www.milltimberdirect.co.uk & select the Collect from Branch option. Enter your payment details on our checkout page and place your order.
You will receive an order confirmation email followed by a “Ready to Collect” email to confirm your goods are ready for collection; we will aim to get in touch with you regarding collection within 24 - 48 hours.
Please bring your payment card and “Ready to Collect” confirmation email, this can be printed or shown on a smartphone or tablet device.
You will have 7 days from the date of the “Ready to Collect” email to collect your goods.
On the rare occasion that an item is not available we will contact you to discuss your order.
If you wish to cancel an order please contact Mill Timber Direct before your order is processed & we can cancel.
Goods are available for collection during branch opening hours.
Returns & Refunds
Mill Timber Direct is happy to refund or exchange a full priced item within 28 days from your order date excluding delivery charge, in accordance with the distance selling regulations.
Items must be returned unopened and in re-sale able condition.
Flooring can be returned within 28 days as long as the boxes are unopened. Please note there is a 20% restocking charge on returned packs of flooring.
We cannot accept returns on bagged powders as we do not know the conditions they have been stored in & therefore we cannot sell.
A full refund or exchange will only be guaranteed if the item is returned within the time frames stated above, starting from the date on your delivery note. Any items received after this date will be sent back to the original delivery address.
The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or you have received an incorrect order therefore we will refund postage costs up to a maximum of the postage price you originally paid on your order.
Item (s) should be returned via an insured, traceable service.
Please make a note of any tracking numbers in case they are required.
We are not responsible for any damage caused to goods in transit, so please ensure that they are securely packaged.
We also offer a collection service to which a collection charge will be applicable; this will be the same as the delivery charge.
Please contact support@milltimberdirect.co.uk to arrange a collection.
Please allow up to 10 working days after we receive the goods for the refund to be credited to your bank account.

Please note any damages must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order.
