Escot Field & Driveway Gates
The classic Escot Gate is made from kiln dried Scandinavian Redwood and is pressure treated using timber preservative, to guarantee many years of useful life. The 'green' treatment results in a subtle, natural finish to retain the beautiful grain of the wood.
The Escot Gate's robust build means it is ideal for use on a field entrance; it has an equally attractive finish to be hung on a driveway. These gates are universal which means they can be hung either left or right handed.

Our gates are handcrafted by our Cornwall-based sister company, Duchy Timber. Our softwood gates are available in a range of designs for driveway, garden, pedestrian and field applications.
Each gate is made from kiln-dried softwood generally sourced from certified, responsibly managed local forests.
Duchy Timber uses up to three times more timber than our competitors; this extra wood in your new Duchy Timber gate gives you a heavy duty, stronger and more robust product that is built to last. Each gate is checked at every stage of its manufacture to ensure that it will last for many years to come.
Our expert carpenters at Duchy Timber can adapt any gate to your exact needs; just get in touch to discuss your unique, customised wooden gate.
Please note that because our gates are hand-crafted, there may be a longer lead time for them; check the stock level and if it's 'red', please check the 'Technical Specification/More Information section for an estimated lead time.
Note that gate hardware (gate furniture) and posts are not included, so remember to order the gate accessories you need; gate handles, gate security bolts and padlocks, gate hinges, fixings, wood stain and wood paints are all available.
