What Can Rough Sawn Timber Be Used For?
Traditionally, rough sawn timber is used for general construction, building and landscaping projects. It has a rougher finish than PAR or PSE (which is smooth, planed tmber) and is therefore usually covered up by a neater outer layer e.g. plasterboard or sheet materials, flooring etc.
What Is Rough Sawn Timber?
Rough sawn timber is timber that has been cut from a log but has not been planed or finished. With this being the case, the timber has a rustic, 'rough' look, compared with smooth planed timber (PSE or PAR).
